The Ferry ride is also available and we like to just walk on and walk off into Skagway since it\’s a short walk to the hotels downtown. In Juneau, we recommend the 4 points by Sheraton (Marriott Owned now). In Skagway we like Sgt. Preston’s and it\’s simple, clean, warm, and roomy enough. It\’s also a short walk to food and the old Skagway experience year around. Winters are milder and we like unique photography during this time.
